Greek: αποκαλυψις [apokalupsis] (Noun feminine). From αποκαλυπτω [apokaluptô]. Disclosure, revelation.

αποκαλυψις [apokalupsis] appears 18 times in the NT:


(1) Luke 2: 32
A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel. - αποκαλυψιν [apokalupsin] Accus. sing. ("to lighten" - εις αποκαλυψιν [eis apokalupsin] Lit: "in revelation").

(2) Romans 2: 5
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; - αποκαλυψεως [apokalupseôs] Gen. sing.
