Greek: θηριον [thêrion] (Noun neuter]. An animal.

θηριον [thêrion] appears 47 times in the NT:


(1) Mark 1: 13
And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him. - των θηριων [tôn thêriôn] Gen. pl. ("with the wild beasts" - μετα των θηριων [meta tôn thêriôn]).

(2) Acts 10: 12
Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. - τα θηρια [ta têria] Accus. pl.
