Greek: πολεμεω [polemeô] (Verb). To war, to fight, to battle.

πολεμεω [polemeô] appears 7 times in the NT:


(1) James 4: 2
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. - πολεμειτε [polemeite] Present Indicative Active, 2 pl.

(2) Revelation 2: 16
Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. - πολεμησω [polemêsô] Future Indicative Active, 1 sing.

(3, 4) Revelation 12: 7
