Greek: λοιδορεω [loidoreô] (Verb). From λοιδορος [loidoros]. To object, reproach or criticise in bitter, harsh, or abusive language. To vilify, abuse, revile.

λοιδορεω [loidoreô] appears 4 times in the NT:


(1) John 9: 28
Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses' disciples. - ελοιδορησαν [eloidorêsan] Aorist Indicative Active, 3 pl.

(2) Acts 23: 4
